It was speculated that tri-Ace’s Star Ocean: The Divine Force might be featured in Sony‘s upcoming State of Play presentation, which is scheduled to take place on June 2nd. The action role-playing game was anticipated to receive fresh information this Spring, but as of yet, there has been no announcement made. The development team has stated in a recent tweet (via DeepL) that additional information will instead be released toward the end of June.
In addition, it expressed regret for the inconvenience and stated that it was “working diligently to satisfy your expectations.” We ask that you please continue to hold off on making your decision. Star Ocean: The Divine Force will be available for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC at some point this year. The Double Hero concept, which gives players two characters to control and features a setting that combines elements of science fiction and fantasy, makes its return in this installment.
Each one features a different narrative, cast of characters, and method of conflict resolution. Additionally, exploration has been broadened and now takes place in expansive new regions where flying is an option. Back in October 2021, when the game was first shown off to the public, comments regarding its general presentation were varied. We’ll check in on tri-Ace to see whether they’ve made any headway since then and, if they have, try to nail down a release date. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned for further developments.
