While the majority of critics have given Star Wars Jedi: Survivor positive reviews since its release last week, the action-adventure game has also drawn criticism for its shoddy technical state at that time. On that front, the game has troubles across all platforms, with PC seeing the worst of it. To fix those issues, developer Respawn Entertainment has announced that it will release a number of fixes over the next few weeks.
In fact, the first of those patches is now available. The creator of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor stated on Twitter that the game’s first patch is currently available for PC and will launch on PS5 tomorrow. It resolves several freezes, performance problems, crashes, graphic flaws, and other difficulties. Meanwhile, the update for PC includes speed enhancements for non-raytraced rendering in addition to all the corrections that will be addressed for consoles when the patch is released tomorrow. See the complete patch notes below.
With the second-largest physical launch in the UK so far for 2023 and over 67,000 concurrent players on Steam at its peak, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has, unsurprisingly, gotten off to a strong start in terms of sales and player numbers.
Today a patch has become available for the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and tomorrow (5/2) we’ll also be issuing a patch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
We are hard at work on patches that will further improve performance and fix bugs across all platforms.… pic.twitter.com/XrjbdDQUp6
