Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from Respawn Entertainment managed to draw a peak concurrent audience of 67,855 players throughout the weekend in spite of a number of PC-related difficulties. In comparison, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order peaked at 46,550 concurrent gamers around four years ago.
Jedi: Survivor’s PC version isn’t “performing to our standards for a percentage of PC players, in particular those with high-end machines or certain specific configurations,” according to the development team. Efforts are being made to address the issue and enhance performance “across a spectrum of configurations.” It is requesting patience from PC users, though, as “each patch requires significant testing to ensure we don’t introduce new problems.”
Expect fixes for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions in the upcoming weeks since those systems also have performance issues and screen tearing. However, the game’s physical sales are quite good in the UK, where it has already surpassed Hogwarts Legacy as the year’s second-largest game launch. Despite having 35 percent lower sales than Jedi: Fallen Order, this is the case.
