Bethesda may offer Starfield players an interesting feature in the future… in fact, the option is already available in production, but at least currently we cannot count on easy access to the proposal. One fan discovered the possibility of building space stations.
Starfield provides access to crafting, thanks to which players can, among other things, create bases. The system is surprisingly extensive, but there are many indications that the developers wanted to provide us with an even better option for implementing our own M2.
A player called VextheCollector created a modification thanks to which Starfield allows you to build space stations. There wouldn’t be anything extraordinary about it, but it turns out that the entire system code is already available in the game.
How did I do it? All the code was already in the game, but a few things were broken and just didn’t work. As you can see, even with this mod, a few things like docking are still a bit broken.
The creators probably decided at the last stage to give up the idea, which has clearly not been finalized and may be included in the game at a later date.
Bethesda can improve the idea, add a few concepts and in the future expand Starfield with another system that should be well received by the game’s biggest fans.
It is worth remembering that Bethesda is officially working on the first story expansion for Starfield. The game will also receive a major update next week that will provide several new features – including full DLSS support.
