Nationwide Space Day is observed every year on the first Friday in May, which fell on May 6 this year, and of course, being the producers of the highly anticipated upcoming space-faring RPG Starfield, the folks over at Bethesda were had to do something to commemorate the event. And what method did they use to accomplish this goal? The game’s concept art for the future release has been updated with a new piece. Even if it isn’t really exciting, it is nonetheless something.
The concept illustration depicts a character traveling through a cave while outfitted in an environmental suit, with what appear to be flying bioluminescent insects fluttering around and a hovering robot illuminating the road ahead of the character. One aspect of the robot, in particular, may be of particular interest; may this be our first glance at our game’s second robotic companion?
For the Xbox Series X/S and PC, Starfield will be available on November 11. When it comes to concept art, behind-the-scenes movies, and leaked photographs from an older build, you don’t have to be concerned for much longer. The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will take place on June 12th, and Starfield will very certainly be the star attraction there.
