Bethesda has confirmed the release of another update to Starfield. The game received a “small” patch, which, however, deals with important elements. The developers have confirmed that they are still working on a much larger file.
Last week, Bethesda confirmed work on a large patch for Starfield, which will offer a number of important improvements – developers will provide, among others, support for DLSS and a food consumption button .
The developers are still working on improvements and expected features, but Starfield has just received the 1.7.33 update. Bethesda has confirmed that this small patch brings “fixes to performance and stability issues and several general gameplay issues.”
Developers actually focused on four elements – major fixes, graphics, performance and stability, and ships. Players will no longer have easy access to the entire seller’s inventory, an image scaling bug has been fixed, and game stuttering caused by a hand-held scanner has been eliminated.
GENERAL
- Characters: Fixed an issue that could cause some characters to not be in the correct locations.
- Star Stations: Fixed an issue where Star Stations could be marked as player-owned ships.
- Vendors: Resolved an issue where the player could access a vendor’s entire inventory.
GRAPHICS
- AMD (PC): Fixed an issue where star flare was not displayed correctly on machines with AMD processor cards.
- Graphics: Fixed an image scaling issue that could cause textures to blur.
- Graphics: Fixed an issue that could cause light sensitivity issues when scrolling through the inventory menu.
PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY
- Handheld Scanner: Resolved an issue where the Handheld Scanner caused the game to freeze.
- Various stability and performance improvements have been made to eliminate the game crashing suddenly.
SHIPS
- Sites: Fixed an issue that caused items placed on mannequins inside the ship to disappear.
- Sites: Fixed an issue that caused items placed in Razorleaf’s storage containers and weapon holders to disappear after capturing another ship.
The changes are not really big, but as you can see, Bethesda is taking small steps to eliminate problems that may ultimately affect the players’ experience.
