Sword Art Online is one of the most popular and interesting anime series based on the idea of transferring one’s consciousness into a video game. After a three-year break, we get another adaptation of the cult anime.
After the rather weak Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris , the Bandai Namco team gave themselves three years to create a decent continuation of one of their flagship anime game series. Last Thursday, Sword Art Online: Last Recollection debuted on all major platforms and markets, touching on subsequent threads of Kirito and his friends’ fight against a mysterious organization that has very nefarious plans for NPCs created as part of self-aware artificial intelligence.
On the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the game is playable. The Steam community has so far given the new Japanese creation a 72% good rating, praising it. However, it is important to keep in mind that PLN 249 is a hefty price for an AA class RPG.
