The makers of The Last of Us Part I came to the conclusion that they would not add any new gameplay sequences to the game, but they did decide to make the game’s conclusion more of a focal point. All because of The Last of Us Part II and the activities that took place during Ellie’s second journey.
[WARNING: THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS]
You are aware that the events that take place at the beginning of The Last of Us Part II are a direct result of the conclusion of The Last of Us. Joel is faced with a challenging choice and chooses to flee the hospital with Ellie, telling her a lie and telling her that the serum could not be prepared. This sets the stage for the events that take place at the beginning of The Last of Us Part II.
Naughty Dog has not decided to change this plot in the plot, but in The game there is an interesting refreshment – the creators replaced the model of a stranger doctor from The Last of Us with the figure of Abby’s father (Jerry Anderson), and he also says a bit different words: “It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you. I’m sorry.”
During the conversation, “I won’t let you take her” appears in place of “Don’t come any closer.” This subtle change to the speech is most likely intended to imply that Joel’s acts were not beneficial for humanity and in some way explains Abby’s subsequent actions.
As you are aware, when playing Part II of the game itself, we had the opportunity to become extremely familiar with this moment, which served as a fundamental building block for the entirety of the narrative.
It is important to note that The Last of Us Part I will also include new outfits for heroes. Earlier on the web, we featured Ellie T-shirts that were tied to products by PlayStation Studios.
