The gameplay for The Last of Us Part I, which was revealed in the second half of July, demonstrated that the remake of The Last of Us is, in fact, a few levels higher than the original game for PS3 consoles or the remaster version developed for PS4 platforms. Now the authors have added yet another comparison to their social media platforms.
This updated version is a true remake; it was constructed using the most recent graphics engine that Naughty Dog has released, and it takes use of advancements in both technology and materials. Even if we can (justifiably) question the interest in a remake of a game that was already amazing when it was launched fewer than 10 years ago, we have to concede that the enhancements are visible at first sight.
This time, equestrian activities were included in the workshop agenda. We shall, at some point in the game, accompany the protagonist’s brother on his journey to a shared objective. The juxtaposition of these two shots demonstrates the level of care that was put into the planet (it is especially interesting to focus on the vegetation), as well as the animations. The mounts have more life, and it is clear that they are responding more precisely to our directions.
It is important to keep in mind that the first installment of The Last of Us will be available for purchase on PlayStation 5 on September 2nd. This year should see the release of the game for personal computers.
