Players who have already pre-purchased the digital version of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may begin pre-loading the game, giving them access to the full game six days before it is officially made available for purchase. The full game will be released on May 12. The pre-load is around 16.2 gigabytes in size, as stated by GameSpot.

It has been suggested by Twitter user @PhantomxKairi that if the pre-loading process hasn’t started for you yet, you may cancel your pre-order and place a new one. Doing so would apparently cause the download to become accessible.

In addition, Nintendo will be celebrating the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by broadcasting a webcast of the event. The forthcoming game’s gameplay will be shown during the live stream on May 11, which is scheduled to take place that day.

The anticipation around the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is pretty strong, particularly in light of the previews that went public last month that revealed gameplay from the title’s Sky Islands segment. Additionally, the previews provided us with a glance at the many items that Link would have access to while playing the game.

On May 12, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released and playable only on the Nintendo Switch.

My digital version of Tears of the Kingdom is now preloading on my Switch! For those who don’t see the preload yet (I used a NSO game voucher) cancel the preorder and preorder again, download will pop up! Can’t wait for May 12th <3 #Zelda #ZeldaTearsoftheKingdom #NintendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/gkAysxpXo0
