Techland has been releasing updates for Dying Light 2 Stay Human on a fairly continuous basis since the game’s release, and the company has also been working on additional features for the game for quite some time, with New Game Plus being one of them. We now have a better understanding of when we can expect that in particular.
Techland has stated on Twitter that it is currently working on the upcoming fix for Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The update, which will be available on all platforms by the end of this month, has been dubbed “one of the biggest” that the company has delivered thus far. Additionally, the patch will include various bug fixes for both single-player and co-op play, as well as the addition of a New Game Plus option.
A recent announcement from Techland reaffirmed the company’s efforts to develop further new features for Dying Light 2, including a Photo Mode and other difficulty options, though it is unclear when those will be released. Meanwhile, the first expansion for the game – which will not take place until after the completion of the base game – is also now in the development stage.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PC. Eventually, it will be available as a cloud-only download for the Nintendo Switch sometime later this year.
