The local PlayWay has been having a bit of a difficult time lately. Several moderately successful premieres and the postponement of Cooking Simulator 2 did not inspire optimism. However, Thief Simulator 2 changes this situation.
PlayWay has been specializing in the production of simulators for over a decade, with very mixed results. Sometimes we get something cool like Car Mechanic Simulator, Cooking Simulator, or Thief Simulator, and sometimes we get such crap that it’s not worth talking about. Thief Simulator 2, released 3 days ago, turns out to be a really good project.
Developers from CookieDev and Ultimate Games have prepared a sequel to the extremely popular title, achieving much better results than its predecessor. The thief simulator had 2,700 players at its peak at launch, while Thief Simulator 2 has as many as 3,751 players playing simultaneously, with 84% positive ratings on Steam. As it turns out, investing in such “sure things” really pays off. Do you play PlayWay games?
