Total War: Warhammer III is unquestionably the weakest installment in the trilogy, and it is almost the weakest installment in the entire series. That is true, even when it comes to the experimental initiatives of the Total War Saga sub-series.
When it came to the period between February and April, the developers only had enough resources to complete one significant fix. It has received only minor improvements: the balance of the main campaign has been altered, the ogres have been made somewhat weaker, and the Chaos Legion and Cathay have been made slightly stronger. Furthermore, AI-controlled groups have mastered the art of fielding respectable armies.
In order to avoid interfering with the affairs of Khorne, Slaanesh, and any of the remaining factions, the developers only addressed a number of glitches and attempted to enhance the troublesome movement mechanics of moving units. Almost succeeded – the rifle and flying, however, continue to have major difficulties navigating in combat.
The only good news is the opening of mod support on Steam. The workshop is already filled with swarms of various mods, fixing the terrible interface, the camera, the most annoying game mechanics, and much more.
