Yesterday, Ubisoft released its report for the last fiscal quarter in which it stated that it will review any takeover bids and can remain an independent company, and the report also included updates on projects under development within the company’s studios.
Including Ubisoft’s confirmation that Skull & Bones will be released in the next fiscal year, but it was also striking – according to the PlayStation lifestyle site – the absence of some title names that had previously been revealed, as the Prince of Persia games The Sands of Time Remake, The Division Heartland and Rocksmith+ And XDefiant and Roller Champions all missed out on the company’s financial report.
But the report included confirmation that the game Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still alive, but most likely will not be released in the next fiscal year, while it confirmed that between April 2022 and March 2023 it will release the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Skull & Bones games alongside Mario & Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and other fun games.
Ubisoft also confirmed that the development process of the Splinter Cell remake is ongoing and that the project is being developed by the Ubisoft Toronto team and will harness the power of Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine, and stated that there are several projects for games that have not yet been announced that will enhance the company’s release list and expand its huge titles tremendously.
