The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) in the United States has given its rating to Square Enix’s Valkyrie Elysium, making it the third country in which the game has received a rating after Brazil and South Korea. Because of the profanity and the violence, it has been rated “T” which stands for “teen.” In addition to this, the description offers some fresh information.
In addition to traveling the globe to battle monsters and persuade Einherjar to join her cause, the protagonist will also face off against “fellow Valkyries” and “boss characters” in the course of the game. The second part appeared to be a given, but the first part is quite interesting. It’s possible that this will shed some light on the identity of the enigmatic character who was depicted in the announcement trailer.
Players are able to wield spears in addition to swords, although the gameplay for spears has not yet been shown to us. You might draw whatever conclusions you like from the fact that there is also a scene in which a character is “dramatically impaled by a spear.” This year will see the release of Valkyrie Elysium for the PS4, PS5, and PC platforms. In light of the most recent ratings, it seems as though it will only be a matter of time before Square Enix reveals the release date. Keep an eye out for further information over the next few weeks.
