There may be an announcement on the release date for Square Enix‘s Valkyrie Elysium in the near future. It was just been graded for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC by Brazil’s ClassificaƧo Indicativa. The listing went public on June 21 and did not provide many fresh details; nevertheless, things are at least progressing behind the scenes.
The critically acclaimed Valkyrie Profile series will have a sequel in the form of Valkyrie Elysium, which is being developed by Soleil and scheduled for release in 2022. The fights will take place in real-time rather than using a turn-based system, and a new Valkyrie will be leading the charge to save the world from Ragnarok. Players have the option of using magic in addition to traditional combat techniques such as chopping and slashing. There are vast settings to investigate, as well as a variety of foes to face up against.
A strange figure that resembled a Dragoon was shown for a brief moment toward the end of the announcement trailer. Since the Tokyo Game Show will take place from September 15th to September 18th, it’s possible that we’ll find out more about them in the coming months. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned for further developments.
