It should come as no surprise that the Xenoblade Chronicles series is continuing to benefit from its popularity, which has greatly increased over the course of the Switch era as a whole. The highly anticipated third installment in the Xenoblade Chronicles series was released on the Nintendo Switch eShop last week, and it was almost immediately hailed with great praise from audiences and critics alike. That, as you might reasonably have anticipated, is having an effect on sales of the game as well.
Although we do not yet have any concrete numbers to tell us how much of the game has been able to sell, we do know that it is doing well in the digital marketplace. In the United States, the eShop for the Nintendo Switch is presently listing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 as the game that has sold the most copies. It is currently ranked higher than other popular video games such as Nintendo Switch Sports, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, and many others. Digimon Survive is currently in fourth position, and LIVE A LIVE is currently in ninth place. Other recent releases, including a number of others, are also performing quite well.
The third installment in the Xenoblade Chronicles series is now playable on the Nintendo Switch.
