In the year 2022, the French producer and publisher will extend an invitation to fans of shooting to participate in additional activities on The Division 2 servers. The game’s creators are currently hard at work creating brand new events and a previously unreleased variation of the game.
Ubisoft is concentrating on developing further the Division brand. A demonstration of The Division Resurgence, a mobile free-to-play game, was held in July. During this time, we also got a glimpse of the game’s early gameplay content. The Division Heartland, a free-to-play mode aimed at consoles and PC, is currently being developed by IP development teams. In addition, there is talk of developing a Battle Royale mode for the game, which is connected to the title.
The French government has made it clear that they have no intention of abandoning The Division 2. Although the looter shooter game has been available for purchase for more than three years, in 2022 it will receive two significant improvements. The beginning of Season 10, which will provide the community with loads of new challenges, new gear, new hunts, and new strongholds, will begin sometime in September, despite some delays.
However, this is not the conclusion of the interesting parts. Season 11 will become accessible in December, and at that time we will test the previously untested PvE mode. Specifics regarding the variant will be provided in the near future. In addition to this, the authors are working on the next event, weapons, and accessories, and they intend to give yet another batch of fixes.
Although Ubisoft has not yet confirmed that they are working on The Division 3, we have a good reason to believe that at some point in the not too distant future, the company will make the decision to release a new title that will be sold at full price. After all, the French are consistently concerned about the expansion of their intellectual property, and this ensures that the brand receives the attention it deserves.
