We will see the debut of brand-new JRR Tolkien-inspired productions in the upcoming months. Embracer Group is expanding its ambitions and hopes to capitalize on the brand’s popularity in the Lord of the Rings after acquiring all of the IP rights last year. Those who are interested in the world of climate may find new facts interesting.
We know that this time there were no more team acquisitions or investments in new brands because the Swedish company recently released a new financial report. After some adjustments to the created projects, the Embracer Group studios are now concentrating on 224 productions, and the management of the business anticipates that up to 19 AAA games will be launched before March 2026. But what does Lord of the Rings’ foreseeable future look like?
Up to five new games that expand the Lord of the Rings universe could be released in the following fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024:
Middle-earth Enterprises parent company Embracer Group $EMBRAC says five new video games based on The Lord of the Rings are scheduled to be released by 31st March 2024.

Only two productions that have already been seen and might be made available on the specified date are currently known to us. We’re referring to Electronic Arts and Capital Games’ mobile game The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
However, it remains to be hoped that the Embracer stewards acted as promised and the IP wound up in the hands of skilled teams that would create high-budget products. The Lord of the Rings is a highly rich universe that deserves many fantastic games. We must still wait for particular announcements, though.
