Bandai Namco used the Tokyo Game Show to present new shots from Tekken 8. The creators showed off several modes and, for the first time, allowed us to look at the story variant of the gameplay of the upcoming fighting game.
Street Fighter 6 has been on the market for several months, Mortal Kombat 1 has recently been released to players, so Bandai Namco can now gradually introduce players to its offer – the company has so far shown subsequent fighters, and during the event in Japan it was decided to present various modes.
In the case of the campaign, we will receive the largest gameplay variant in history, during which at the beginning we will see cinematic inserts, and then the action will smoothly transition to combat – the system was well presented in the latest gameplay.
Additionally, the Japanese showcased Arcade Quest, Super Ghost Battle, Tekken Fight Lounge, and Tekken Ball. These several gameplay variations demonstrate that the Japanese are not only interested in providing a diverse gaming experience, but that the studio is also keeping an eye on the competition. Bandai Namco will provide gamers with access to a sizable arena where those who are interested can engage in online combat. Our activities will be tracked by the AI, which will eventually pick up fighting techniques and be able to compete against real humans.
Because Tekken 8 is only compatible with current-generation platforms, the graphics could be improved.
