In order for IO Interactive to concentrate on other projects, the Hitman series is now on hiatus. However, in honor of the company’s 25th anniversary, IO Interactive has decided to re-release an older game in the series called Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal.
Reprisal, which was developed by Feral Interactive, is being marketed as a “revitalized” version of Blood Money, which was the fourth mainstream Hitman game that was first made available to the public in 2006. The developer described Reprisal as “a comprehensive reworking” of the original game. It will have a variety of additions, such as a redesigned minimap, the addition of Instinct Mode, and other gameplay improvements that were added retrospectively from subsequent installments in the series.
As a game that is being created by iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch, Reprisal will, of course, include a touchscreen interface that can be fully customized, in addition to offering support for controllers. In addition, support for the keyboard and mouse has been validated.
This coming Fall, Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal will be available for download on iOS and Android devices, and it will be out this coming Winter for Nintendo Switch.
