At the end of the month, a new part of the Amnesia series will appear on the market. Frictional Games has been running a modest marketing campaign for many months, but finally we got a long gameplay that should answer the question once and for all – is Amnesia: The Bunker worth picking up?
Frictional Games has been showing Amnesia: The Bunker for months, but so far we’ve seen short footage that didn’t really show any specific gameplay. The authors revealed individual mechanics, and now we have received a 10-minute gameplay showing how the story will actually look like.
The action of Amnesia: The Bunker was set in the times of World War I, so the hero will not be able to use modern weapons or even specialized gadgets. While traversing the titular bunker, we will use, for example, a dynamo flashlight, which is driven by the hero – the problem, however, turns out to be noise, because the device is loud.
The player in Amnesia: The Bunker will have to pay attention to the sounds they make at every step, because in the game we will be running away from the beast – the gameplay is supposed to resemble the gameplay from Alien Isolation.
In the video you will see the whole concept of Amnesia: The Bunker. The creators came up with an interesting idea, and thanks to the game being based on randomly generated elements, the title is to offer great replayability.
