After two unexpected delays, ARK: Survival Ascended is ready to launch on Xbox Series X.
Studio Wildcard informed players that ARK: Survival Ascended will be released today, November 21, on Xbox Series X|S. The title will debut on consoles at 16:00 Polish time.
“Studio Wildcard confirms the final release date for Ark: Survival Ascended on Xbox – there will be no further delays. The game will be available today at 5pm UK time,” the Wildcard team stated on Twitter.
What about releasing the game on PS5? The developers said they were working closely with Sony to obtain the certification, but that they had encountered “some issues.” We expect the premiere on the Sony console only at the beginning of December 2023.
“We continue to work closely with Sony on certification for PlayStation 5. We are working diligently to ensure the best possible gameplay experience across all platforms.”
ARK: Survival Ascended is a game that puts a lot of strain on even the most powerful gaming PCs. I wonder how the authors managed to port the game to XSX.
