Dead Island 2 is slated to release on April 21st for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. However, it seems that copies of the game began to leak to some markets and stores 9 days before its release.
After nearly a decade of waiting for Dead Island 2, we’re a week and a half away from its April 21st release. That long wait is about to get shorter for a lucky few gamers, as an eBay seller somehow managed to get their hands on the game early, with at least one person already playing it and sharing their thoughts on the game so far.
GamesRadar+ published that the player Marcellius-the-3rd shared with players on the Reddit forum with pictures showing that he had obtained a copy of the game early on through the eBay store and from someone who said he owned dozens of copies of the game.
The story of Dead Island 2 takes place after an evacuation that saw the citizens of Los Angeles trying to escape the city after the outbreak of the epidemic, but of course, it was not possible to evacuate all the residents, as the entire city was placed in quarantine by the government, hoping to get rid of the infection, no one He can leave or enter the city, so figuratively speaking it’s an island, and with that logic, almost any location can be an “island,” and all you have to do is just isolate the area from the rest of the world.
The title offers 6 playable characters with different abilities and skills. The gameplay also depends on customizing cards that provide each character with additional abilities, weapons, and tools that suit the situation the player is going through, and can be easily and quickly switched between.
