DNF Duel‘s second open beta will run from now through April 4th on PlayStation platforms, with the first open beta taking place on March 29th. It introduces a new character to the roster, the Ghostblade, while details on the game’s other additions and tweaks are still forthcoming. DNF Duel, between now and then, a new movie has been published in which every disclosed character’s talents are compared to the skills of their Dungeon Fighter Online counterparts. Take a look at the video below.
The resemblances are undeniably accurate, yet this only helps to showcase the fighting game’s graphic design and animation skills, rather than detract from them. Unfortunately, the previously anticipated Female Mechanic isn’t there, so it’s possible that her introduction and comparison may take place later on. For the fighter, a total of 11 characters have been revealed so far.
In addition, since Dungeon Fighter Online is highly popular all over the globe (though admittedly much more so in Asia than in Europe), and because the game has social media profiles in English, we should anticipate a western release in the near future.
It was only a matter of time until Dungeon Fighter Online expanded into other genres and markets since it is now one of the most popular games in the world based on real income generated by players.
We‘ll have to wait for further details about the DNF Duel platform and release timeframe for the time being since neither has been disclosed at this time.
DNF Duel will be released on June 28th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, and it will have a rollback netcode for its online multiplayer.
