A new trailer for the upcoming treasure hunting RPG game Dragon Quest Treasures, which will include Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age, has been made available by Square Enix. It shows the two of them riding a fantastical locomotive through the air while also providing hints about the locations they pass through, such as the shell of what used to be a dragon’s egg. Take a look at it in the next paragraph.
“Blue Eyes and the Compass of the Skies” is the translation of the game’s official Japanese subtitle, which is referred to as “Aoki Hitomi to Oozora no Rashinban.” This appears to be an appropriate way to continue with the concept of exploring the numerous lands in the sky. In June 2022, additional information will be provided, at which point, hopefully, the real gameplay loop will be disclosed.
There is not much that is known about the game other than the fact that it does not follow the typical Dragon Quest formula and has the concept of treasure hunting. The Dragon Quest Treasures release date as well as the platforms it will be available on have not yet been announced, but the game is aiming for a simultaneous release around the world. Keep an eye out for further information coming in the month of June.
