A new report from The Mirror has indicated that the accounts of several FIFA-related content creators have been subjected to hacking attempts in the last few days, some of which succeeded and caused harm to players. The accounts were hacked by trying to trick EA customer service staff into changing the account email address after Provide specific information.
An EA Sports spokesperson confirmed to The Mirror that EA is aware of these attempts and the company has begun investigating the issue and we’ll see how it is addressed.
