October 21, 2008 was a great day for the gaming industry, because it was then that two absolutely brilliant productions debuted – Fable 2 and Far Cry 2.
Exactly 15 years ago, one of the most anticipated games of this generation, the sequel to the brilliant Fable, debuted on Xbox 360 consoles. Peter Molyneux gave a real display of his skills here and showed that the great world of Fable can be significantly developed and perfectly adapted to the needs of owners of Microsoft’s second console. The game received an average rating of 89%, while its predecessor received 85%. Fable II is still the brand’s peak achievement.
On the same day, Far Cry 2 also debuted, to which fans of the first game had really high expectations. Did Ubisoft manage to take good care of the Crytek brand? In my opinion, definitely yes. Far Cry 2 had a lot of innovative mechanics, perfectly demonstrated the power of PS3 and Xbox 360, and additionally offered a really cool storyline. The only thing that was tiring were the constantly respawning enemy outposts.
