Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which is being developed by Square Enix, has received a deluge of positive press coverage and announcements over the past month. There is a lot for fans to get their teeth into, with new playable characters like Red XIII, Cait Sith, and even Sephiroth (although briefly), new Synergy Attacks in battle, copious side content, and a promise of over 100 hours of action.
Vincent Valentine makes his appearance in the i story as well and will travel with the group, despite the fact that he is not a playable character. On the bright side, the developer has cast voice actor Matthew Mercer in the part of the player-favorite, so you know you’ll be getting a first-rate performance from him. Mercer has provided the voice for a great number of notable characters in the game industry, including Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Cole Cassidy in Overwatch 2, and most recently Minsc in Baldur’s Gate 3.
The launch date for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is February 29, 2024, on the PS5 platform. It will be packaged on two Blu-ray discs and will demand 150 GB of space on your computer for the installation.
