The game Ghostwire Tokyo was released last March exclusively for home devices via PS5, and was also available on PC, but the game failed to enter the list of the ten best-selling games in Britain after launch, and was not able to achieve this feat permanently, nevertheless, the director of the project hopes to work on Additional content in the upcoming period, or a sequel to the game in the near future.

Kenji Kimura, the game’s director, spoke in a recent interview explaining that once the base game had been developed and released, he had a desire to work on additional content or even a sequel, and he still had that desire but neither the development team nor Bethesda had settled on anything about it. Support for the game and its additional content until now, and continued:

I think when things calm down a bit more, I’ll have ideas for downloadable content or future parts, and I’ll want to work on them Without a doubt, nothing has been decided yet, so I can’t tell you more than I’ve already told you.

This isn’t the first time Kimura has talked about the possibility of working on additional content for Ghostwire Tokyo. Shortly before the title was released, he said that depending on how well the game performs, the Tango Gameworks team would be open to developing new content if given the opportunity.

It is noteworthy that the Tango Gameworks team has an unannounced project in development at the moment under the direction of John Johanas, director of the horror game The Evil Within 2.
