Another update has been released for Helldivers 2. After considering the feedback from players, the developers made the decision to address the issue of an excessive number of strong opponents. Additionally, a few game problems have been resolved.
Recall that over a month has gone since the release of Arrowhead Game Studios’ most recent title, which is still quite high in the sales rankings. The developers pay attention to player feedback, and in the most recent release, they addressed a few of the elements that were mentioned.
The problem with a large number of armored enemies occurred at higher difficulty levels. This meant that players were often unable to survive such a difficult encounter. The studio confirmed that the matter was discussed within the team, so they decided to make changes.
We have reduced the spawn rate of Stormtroopers and Yellow Titans on difficulty 7 and above. Please note that we have changed the distribution of enemy types, not the difficulty level. Instead, expect to see more and other types of enemies.
Furthermore, the mission modifier has been eliminated, which may have resulted in us being assigned a random stratagem rather than the one we selected. When it is redesigned, the developers plan to reintroduce it. The authors said that rather of causing enthusiasm, it produced irritation. Although it wasn’t included in the changelog, the studio points out that this modification was previously present in the last release.
Furthermore, the update addresses issues with the game crashing in specific scenarios and fixes interface flaws. The subject of players being booted out of the game is one of the major issues that still exists. Lobby hostesses frequently eject guests who are not operating their equipment properly. Jonah Pilestedt, the director of the game, stated that the team is still learning how to handle the case, which makes it very challenging to solve.
