On February 22, the PC version of the strategic role-playing game King Arthur: Knight’s Tale will be ported to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The release date for the console versions of the game was announced alongside the release of a new trailer, which you can view for yourself down below.
The King Arthur: Knight’s Tale console release comes with a variety of features, such as a local player-versus-player (PvP) game mode, haptic feedback support for the PlayStation 5 version of the game, and the option to choose between Quality Mode, which runs the game at 4K resolution, and Performance Mode, which places a higher priority on frame rate.
Since its initial release as a product available through Early Access, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale has undergone a variety of upgrades, each of which has included additional content and improved the game’s overall performance. One noteworthy example of this is an update that was issued in 2022 that, in addition to delivering new narrative content, also optimized the size of the game’s installation, lowering it from about 120GB to 39GB. This was a significant improvement.
A contemporary retelling of the traditional Arthurian narrative, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend as seen through the perspective of a dark fantasy. The role-playing game is a tactical one with a turn-based system, and the focus is on the narrative.
