The popularity of Minecraft is still high, but developers are itching to provide users with fresh experiences. The suggestion for Minecraft Legends was made on Xbox Developer Direct, and many players would find it interesting.
On paper, Minecraft Legends combines a game with strategy, but it won’t be a major exaggeration to say that the game has so far been largely unknown to players. Microsoft revealed the game last year and displayed some early materials, but we have yet to see a formal presentation.
On Xbox Developer Direct, representatives of the American company announced that we would have access to a full-fledged plot in the game. We can play through the events either alone or with friends. However, the game will also be the first in the universe to feature official PVP battles. The creators will ensure competition between two four-person teams in which we will engage in combat and demolish our opponents’ bases. The game will have cross-platform servers and traditional matchmaking because the authors put a strong emphasis on multiplayer enjoyment.
The situation is undoubtedly intriguing since Mojang Studios enlisted Blackbird Interactive’s assistance (Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, Minecraft Earth, Hardspace: Shipbreaker, Crossfire: Legion, Homeworld 3), and the creators concentrated on creating PVP competition.
The online duels in Minecraft Legends will allow for cooperative play, and each game session is meant to be unique owing to the randomly generated environments. On the maps, there will also be AI-controlled groups competing against teams, such as pigs.
Players can concentrate on direct fighting during PVP gaming in Minecraft Legends, although some team members may need to gather resources or go on treasure hunts, for example. Walls can be erected to safeguard a location at the same time by interested parties.
Although PVP in Minecraft Legends seems fun and many players might enjoy spending their leisure time in such battles, it’s important to keep in mind that this is only one type of game.
The release date for Minecraft Legends is April 18.
