Yesterday, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was made available for purchase on PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch all around the world by Capcom. This expansion brings with it Master Rank quests, new monsters, and a completely new region, among other things. The launch on Steam has been incredibly successful, despite the fact that there have been some problems. In the first twenty-four hours of the game’s release, SteamDB reports that the action role-playing game reached an all-time peak concurrent player count of 194,459 people.
This represents a significant increase over the launch of the base game on Steam, which saw over 90,000 peak concurrent players on the day it was released. It is still a significant distance behind the launch of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on PC, which had 284, 524 peak concurrent players on its first day of availability. Despite this, Sunbreak is now the game with the second-highest number of sales on Steam.

The trailer highlights some of the new and returning monsters, such as Shagaru Magala. In addition, players who are just starting out in the game have the option of purchasing Black Belt S Armor and High-Rank Defender Weapons in order to complete the standard campaign.
