A smaller story from the Assassin’s Creed universe was released in 2023, but fans of giant worlds can get ready for the next huge adventure. Assassin’s Creed Red promises to provide an even larger world than Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Some intriguing information on Assassin’s Creed Red was revealed by Insider Gaming a few days ago. This time, the information was provided by j0nathan, one of the most well-known sources who shares behind-the-scenes information from the Assassin’s Creed universe.
In his opinion, Assassin’s Creed Red will be the next great story and the production will take those interested to a truly great world. Ubisoft is to provide “a larger map than Valhalla, but smaller than the one from Odyssey.”
The creators apparently did their homework very well, because Assassin’s Creed Red will use mechanics known from, among others, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Ghost of Tsushima – players will use, among others, a special hook.
Better stealth mechanics will be included in Assassin’s Creed Red, where users will be able to fully blend into the shadows through the use of darkness. But there are still intriguing alternatives available because we can employ adversaries as spies due of the “recruitment” system.
The ability of enemies to “defend themselves much better than ever before” should improve fighting, which will include more than just rushing on rooftops.
The heroine, Naoi, will likely be more nimble than Yasuke; she will employ smoke bombs, shuriken, and kunai.
Ubisoft probably also took care of refining the graphics, because Assassin’s Creed Red is supposed to have a “better” visuals than the previous versions, which only confirms the actions of the developers who, in the case of the main games, want to offer a lot of beautiful views.
