Overwatch 2 was a perfect hit for Blizzard Entertainment. When the first part of the high-profile shootout started to lose players on the servers at an alarming rate, the developers did a lot more than just add another side event. They gave us a full-fledged game, which gave the brand a second, really high-quality life. A good move in the right direction.
Also, the events in Overwatch are much bigger than they were in the past few years. Each one after the first seems to be well thought out and full of things to do, so it’s hard to get bored. There is no longer a feeling of monotony and weariness. Instead, there is excitement and a desire to try out what has been made. Overwatch 2 x One Punch Man, a new collaboration that came out in the past few days, is the best example of creativity.
Right now, we know that the event will start on Tuesday and go on for a month. According to what the developers have put out, the heroes will have special skins. Doomfist will get Saitama’s outfit, Soldier-76 will have the Mumen Rider option, and Kiriko will wear Tornado Terror clothes. It sounds like a good idea? Yes, for sure, if you like great comedy anime. Interested?
