The gameplay demonstration for Tears of the Kingdom today provided us with a wealth of useful knowledge. Zelda fans all over the world were exposed to some of the new skills and gameplay elements along with Eiji Aonuma’s thorough explanations. The game appears fantastic! We saw some information near the conclusion of the demo that will particularly excite collectors and superfans. In addition to a special edition Pro Controller and carrying bag, Nintendo has also revealed a limited-edition Tears of the Kingdom OLED Model Switch!
The special edition OLED Switch will go on sale on April 28th, while the controller and carrying case will be released on May 12th, the day Tears of the Kingdom is set to debut. This special version features the iconic Hylian Crest in addition to the recognizable design pattern from the upcoming game.
Nintendo provided a press statement with pricing information. The selling price for the Tears of the Kingdom Special Edition OLED Model Switch is $359.99 USD. There won’t be a video disc included. The carrying bag will cost $24.99 USD and the limited edition Pro Controller will cost $74.99 USD. Local stores are currently taking pre-orders for all of these products.
There have been long-running rumors about a Switch system with a Tears of the Kingdom motif. It’s good to have some proof on this at last, and I know collectors will be thrilled.
