A teaser for a potentially exciting surprise was sent out to gamers last week by PlayStation Canada in the form of an invitation to the Super Bowl LVII. However, it has come to our attention that viewers caught a very brief advertisement during the breaks that were featured in the sports program. A large portion of this advertisement was seen in the teaser that was distributed earlier.
“Wow, my expectations were minimal, but this really exceeded them. “Lol,” “Not what I expected,” and “Well played, Sony!” are typical responses. Some of the comments that can be found under the material that has been shared include: “Noisy announced things, and then absolutely failed,” “Really, was that it?”, and “I’m very disappointed.” Not only on the widely visited website but also in person, a great number of fans of the console game did not hide their dismay.
Fans have been waiting for new announcements from the Japanese manufacturer for a number of months and are dependent on information about the event. The Canadian branch of PlayStation certainly did not imagine that a modest teaser would drive fans to such an extent. Viewers could instead see a very brief advertisement, the extended version of which was made available to the public a few weeks ago; the most recent commercial makes clear reference to the Super Bowl in its content.
It is important to keep in mind that Sony is now working on the launch of PlayStation VR2; the new generation of goggles will be available to players starting next week.
