Nightmare Fog, the newest addition to the rotating roster of time-limited Crisis Events available in Rainbow Six Extraction, has now been activated. Players have until June 2nd to participate in the event, which involves going into a toxic cloud in order to bring down the Toxic Tree. You may see it in action by watching the trailers that are provided below.
Even though it appears to be overly hallucinogenic purple smoke, an Operator’s neurotoxic levels will rise if they are exposed to the haze for an extended period of time. As soon as your character reaches the threshold of 30 percent, they will begin to have hallucinations and see phony Archaeans, making it more difficult to distinguish them from the actual ones. Once you reach 65 percent, you will begin to experience tunnel vision, distorted vision, and motion blur.
When your health reaches 100 percent, you will begin to take damage; therefore, you will need to move quickly and finish the objectives in each of the three subzones. This event marks the introduction of the Rush Pistol, which requires you to fire Stims at yourself or your allies in order to receive a momentary increase in both speed and invulnerability. Be mindful, though, that there are only two Stims included in the package.
At this time, Rainbow Six Extraction may be played on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, Google Stadia, and all of these platforms’ respective subscription services for Xbox Game Pass.
