At the PlayStation Showcase, Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 Remake VR Mode finally got to see some gameplay, and it looked very amazing. It is only available for PlayStation VR2, and it lets users control Leon S. Kennedy in first-person mode while dodging blows with a knife in one hand and shooting at foes with the other. The video is below.
In addition, players need to manually reload their guns and close combat with the Chainsaw Man using a knife. The graphics of the relaunch are still gritty, but the gameplay looks slick overall. Later information will be made available, such as the release date.
For Resident Evil 4 Remake on the PS5, the VR Mode is a free piece of DLC. After The Mercenaries (available across all platforms), it’s the second significant update for the game. Separate Ways, a short campaign starring Ada Wong, allegedly will be included as a paid expansion later on this year. In the upcoming months, keep an eye out for additional information on that.
