In spite of the fact that the long-awaited next installment in the Skate series has been in the works for a couple of years at this point, virtually little has been mentioned about the game other than the fact that it is currently in development up until now. Recently, it was revealed that playtesting for the game — which is being dubbed simply skate. – would begin shortly, indicating that significant work had been made in its development. Now, it appears as though we have tangible evidence of that progress.
Pre-alpha gameplay footage of the upcoming game skate. has surfaced on the internet, and was most recently published on Twitter by writer Jeff Grubb. The focus of developer Full Circle, according to Grubb, is on “trying to get the feel perfect,” and that appears to be just what this leaked gameplay appears to demonstrate.
Visually, it is very clear that this is still an early production video, but the emphasis appears to be on movement, tricks, and animations rather than on the characters themselves. According to well-known insider Tom Henderson, the map on which this leaked gameplay takes place is referred to as “Fun City.” Take a look at the video below.
There are currently no gameplay specifics available for skate., however, a behind-the-scenes development video has revealed that the game would take place in an open environment, and EA has stated that user-generated material will play a major role in the game’s overall experience.
Earlier this year, sources claimed the development of skate. was proceeding considerably more quickly than planned, but there has been no official word on when the game will be released or which platforms it will be available on at this time.
This is Skate 4 pre-alpha footage. This is in line with what I've heard about where the game is at from multiple people. They're trying to get the feel right, which is probably the most important aspect of a Skate game. https://t.co/AXNV2Agk6z pic.twitter.com/nUINhghxLg

It's actually called "Fun City" not "Fun Town"
Hoping to have a lot more on the game soon.
If you've played it, the DMs are open.
