It was claimed the previous month that, as a result of negative feedback received from gamers on its gameplay showcase, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been internally delayed past its May debut schedule, and it is possible that the launch date has even been pushed back to 2024. That is now something that can be stated with absolute certainty.
The developers of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady Studios and WB Games, have revealed that the game will not be released until nearly a year later than originally planned. The heroic open-world shooter had been scheduled to release next month, but its new release date has been pushed back to February 2, 2024.
In their statement, Rocksteady stated, “We have made the difficult but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.”
The game has experienced delays in the past, so this one won’t be the first time it happens. The release of the game had been planned for the year 2022; however, it was ultimately pushed back to May 2023. There will have been nine years since Rocksteady’s previous game, Batman: Arkham Knight, was released in February of the following year.
The video game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is currently in the development stage for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
