A substantial amount of Gotham Knights‘ open-world action role-playing game gameplay has been demonstrated by WB Games Montreal in the run-up to the open-world action role-playing game’s release later this year. In the past few weeks, we’ve seen two out of its four playable superheroes in action with Nightwing and Red Hood in dedicated demonstrations, and just lately, a trailer focused on Robin was also promised. The game will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Now, the teaser for that film is up.
When it comes to the game’s mechanics, The Boy Wonder, also known as Tim Drake, is going to be a character with a lot of flexibility. His quarterstaff will be his primary weapon, and he will be able to employ it in a number of different fighting styles (including spinning it around real fast to deflect bullets, it would seem). In addition to this, Robin is an accomplished master detective, much like his father, and is also an expert in the art of stealth, which is something that is expected of any member of the Bat-family.
It is interesting to note that he is also able to utilize technology created by the Justice League in order to teleport himself over relatively small distances. This talent promises to be useful in more ways than one. In the meanwhile, several of his many costumes from the game are demonstrated.
On October 25, Gotham Knights will be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
