Recently, the new IP’s Early Access program release date was announced and verified by Paradox Tectonic. A life simulation game called Life by You is meant to have gameplay that is similar to that of The Sims.
Electronic Arts and EA Maxis are excited to expand the universe of the Sims series, which continues to draw a lot of interest. Yet, Paradox is creating its own initiative in an effort to undermine the hegemony of a well-known IP.
On September 12, Life by You will enter the Early Access phase on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Following a 12-month period of development and market testing, the production will then be released.
Have total control over the characters you design, the cities you construct, and the narratives you tell. Of course, we haven’t overlooked the moderators! As this is Early Access, we want to collaborate closely with you, our players, on concepts and materials that will lead the creation of Life by You and influence the game’s final form. We provide you with access to a variety of imaginative tools so you can plan your life any way you like… or defy its fundamental laws because we firmly believe that everything is improved by a healthy dose of creativity. We want Life by You to be among the most flexible and open life simulations available, and we’re excited to see the characters, narratives, and creations you come up with.
The authors underline that there won’t be any loading screens in the title and promise an open environment where we may freely form our families. We must exercise creativity in the game through, among other things, mods, and we will be able to manage even several players.
As each discussion takes place in a real language and is “created depending on a character’s particular situation,” conversations will play a significant role in Life by You. Even the possibility to design your own topics will be available in the game.
We will be able to construct people or “dream homes and companies from scratch” owing to the extensive editors that the Life by You studio’s developers have not forgotten.
