A new video game that takes place in the Warhammer 40,000 universe has been unveiled by the developer Auroch Digital and the publisher Focus Entertainment. The game, which goes by the name Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, is a first-person shooter and has what looks like an old-school gaming design.
Players of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun assumes the character of a Space Marine who is dispatched on a mission throughout the galaxy to engage in combat against Chaos Space Marines and daemons of chaos. As a tribute to the iconic first-person shooters of the era, the game that calls itself a “boomer shooter” claims to include a large arsenal, as well as a visual style influenced by the 1990s and a metal soundtrack.
According to the press statement, work on the Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun video game has been ongoing since 2018. The game currently has a page on Steam that is life and has details, including the minimum system requirements.
