Owlcat Games, best known for developing the role-playing game Pathfinder, has revealed that its next game will be titled Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. Although a release window has not been specified, it will be available on both consoles and PC. Founder’s Packs can presently be pre-ordered on PC, and doing so grants the purchaser access to a beta test.
Exploring the Imperial space as a Rogue Trader is a computer role-playing game (CRPG) that allows the player to take advantage of a wide variety of perks provided by the Warrant of Trade. They will begin their exploration in the Koronus Expanse and will eventually go on to the Agri-Worlds and Forge Worlds with the intention of staking their claim to those worlds for the merchant empire. You will come across enemies from the Imperium, Xenos, and Chaos cults, as well as possible friends, such as an armored Space Marine, a Sister of Battle, and an Aeldari Ranger.
The gameplay is centered on turns, and different decisions might have an effect on the “lives of entire universes.” In a press statement, the head of the studio, Oleg Shpilchevsky, was quoted as saying, “We’re incredibly happy to launch a new chapter in the history of Owlcat Games.” Working on a wonderful universe like Warhammer 40,000 is not only an honor but also a responsibility and a test for our group as a whole because it comes with a lot of pressure.
“The grim darkness of the 41st millennium is a harsh place full of unbound evil, untold sacrifices, and large-scale threats and challenges that transitions perfectly into an exciting role-playing narrative that allows an exceptional amount of freedom of choice for the player while they are actually playing the game.” We strive to include in the game all of the elements that fans of the CRPG genre enjoy and anticipate, such as fateful choices, non-linear narrative, powerful and diverse companion casts, and addicting and difficult gameplay systems to master.
It is now available for download on PC, but will also be released later this year for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 respectively. In the meantime, make sure to stay tuned for further information regarding Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
