The open-world tactical role-playing game Wartales is now available for purchase on the Xbox Series X/S consoles and on Windows PCs through the Windows Store, as was previously announced by the game’s developer Shiro Games and its publisher Shiro Unlimited. As an early-access product, Wartales has been playable on PC through Steam for quite some time. In April, the game graduated from the Early Access stage by receiving a version 1.0 release. More recently, the video game was ported over to the Nintendo Switch system as well.
Even during the Early Access phase of the game’s development, Shiro Games saw a significant amount of success with their creation. As of the month of May, more than 600,000 copies of the game have been sold. Since then, surely there has been an increase in the total number of copies sold.
Wartales is a tactical role-playing game (RPG) in which players are tasked with navigating an open world that has a wide variety of environments. The gameplay centers around the user setting together their very own group of mercenaries to help them complete objectives and stay alive while playing the game.
