It was just a matter of time until companies that make electronic goods began to focus their attention on the opportunities presented by the cloud and begin developing dedicated gadgets. Logitech, in collaboration with Tencent Games, is hard at work designing a device that will be compatible with both GeForce Now and Xbox Game Pass.
Video game fans will soon be able to check out PS5 and PS4 titles on the screen of their smartphone thanks to a new special controller that Sony introduced the week before last. At the moment, the purpose of this division is to establish a second business. A dedicated cloud gaming portable is going to be released by Logitech G in collaboration with Tencent Games.
The apparatus will provide comprehensive assistance. Logitech and Tencent have reached out to Microsoft and NVIDIA regarding Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now, respectively, in order to capitalize on the capabilities and advantages offered by the respective services.
Ujesh Desai, the CEO of Logitech G, had the following response to the announcement:
Tencent Games is one of the major global platforms for game creation, publishing, and operations; because of this, we have decided to build a partnership with them because they are at the forefront of innovation. As someone who spent their childhood playing video games, the prospect of streaming and playing AAA games almost anywhere is really exciting to me, and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on.
The item has not yet been shown to the public, but we should become aware of a number of specifics very soon. Logitech has developed a website on which users can indicate whether or not they are interested in receiving additional information regarding the project. The handheld device’s makers have disclosed that it will be available for purchase later on in the current year.
